The New Year is a time of reflection, resolution and of course… celebrating. To help you ring in the new decade in style, we’re sharing a list of the best NYE events taking place in and around Wheeling.
You don’t have to stay up until midnight to celebrate the turn of the decade. Taking place from 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM at the Community Recreation Center, Happy Noon Year, hosted by Wheeling Park District, is the perfect family-friendly way to ring in the new year at noon. Bring the kids along and join in the festivities including music, dancing, activities, balloon drop and sparkling grape juice toast. The event is $2/person and comes with glow-stick necklaces, party hat and noisemaker.
For ONE residents, this is the perfect event that’s close to home. Wheeling Town Center’s own City Works Wheeling is hosting Brew Years Eve, a New Year’s Eve dinner featuring chef-prepared entree specials with unique beer and wine pairings. There’s no better way to toast champagne at midnight than in the comfortable and upbeat digs of this pourhouse. Not to mention, they’ll be raffling off a $100 gift card to one lucky winner! (And if you need an encore, they’re hosting a New Year’s Day Recovery Brunch the day after.)
New Years Eve, dinner, drinks and live music? On Wheeling’s very own Restaurant Row, Tuscany is hosting their New Year’s Eve dinner with live music from 4 PM until midnight. Indulge in a special NYE Chef’s Menu created by Executive Chef Bolla Loza, paired with the perfect festive holiday cocktails (not to mention a complimentary champagne toast at midnight). Live music will be performed by Rendition, beginning at 8 PM.
For the truly decadent New Years Eve experience, the Hilton Chicago Northbrook is hosting their annual New Year’s Eve Gala. Their NYE gala package includes a deluxe overnight stay at their hotel, paired with an indulgent four course dinner, wine serve, hors d’oeuvres, open bar and Champagne midnight toast. All that, and non-stop dancing with a DJ, party hats, favors and more.
